I became a Mother before I became a mother. I had always wanted to be both. I was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2008 and became a mother to our oldest child in 2010. After working as a school chaplain for five years, and a few years at home with children, I now try to send up a few thoughts now and then, writing at the intersection of ministry and motherhood. I write because it feeds me. I share it with you because it's my offering. I offer my thoughts on the sacred, beautiful world in which we live. Sippy cups, sacraments, and all.
